This is an exothermic antipiping compound, which expands during its reaction to approximately twice its original volume, to produce a residue of outstanding thermal insulation in spite of the exothermic reaction. Confarm – 501 compound is virtually fume free and low density and the low corban content.
Confarm 501 compound is most generally applied for steel and iron feeders of 150 mm diameter and upwards.
